THE COALITION MEMBERS
This Organisation will attempt to bridge the gap between what happens inside Zimbabwe and what happens outside Zimbabwe, from the freedom and safety of the international arena outside Zimbabwe.
Membership inside Zimbabwe
We take a leaf from Crisis in Zimbabwe that was formed in 2001 and now has 350 organisations inside Zimbabwe as members. Of note we observe their governing document and aims and objectives. Do we find anything odious in their wording, like Letting Zanu PF Off the hook. We are doing this so that we may already know that these 350 organisation inside Zimbabwe were comfortable with being associated to such an organisation. So that we at least can be assured that they may join our coalition.
- Target Crisis membership individually - also Crisis itself
- Political parties
- NGO’s
- Trade Unions
- Faith Groups
- Private Sector
- Ordinary people
- Chiefs and Traditional Leaders
It is about giving all of these inside Zimbabwe “An official structured voice “. Since Zanu PF’s aim is about silencing all voices in Zimbabwe. We need to bust out of this Zanu PF strategy. The
International arena (Diaspora) membership
- All of the above groups that are also located in the diaspora
- Human Rights Groups / advocates
- Democracy Groups / Organisations
- The Zimbabwe Diaspora population
- Governments
- Regional bodies – EC, AU, SADC, UN…….
- International Organisations
What is the aim of all of this work?
- We need to impact the next Zim election in 2028 ;-
- Get the Zim diaspora voting in Zimbabwe . if not
- Conduct our own election in the diaspora
- If the Zimbabwe diaspora is still not allowed to vote in 2028 then to discredit the whole elections before they even occur. To push hard in the international arena to force the hand of governments and the international arena.
- To be the official “opposition“ in the diaspora to Zanu PF and ensure we are in all offices before Zanu PF gets to that same office. That Zanu PF should find us there already challenging them. To the extent that we basically are the government in exile because we must affect everything Zanu PF tries to do.
- One of the other main aims of this is also to turn the international public, also the public in SADC against Zanu PF.
- In SADC it would be about supporting the governments of Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Malawi and at least three other SADC governments that are already anti Zanu PF.
- Other governments in SADC are sitting on the fence because they have not yet heard or been approach by a strong anti-Zanu PF organisation lead by Zimbabweans.
- We would like to change this by being a Zimbabwean led/Internationally led organisation with credibility.
